Sustainable Beef
We breed our own calves from our Herd of specially selected suckler cows, allowing the calves to suckle from their mothers to about 8-9 months old. We rear them upto 36 months of age with lots of love, time & dedication.
During the Spring, Summer & Autumn they graze freely on our herbal leys, which contain a diverse variety of 19 different grass seeds, and spend the Winter in spacious, comfy barns. Some are out-wintered having fresh turnips to graze each day along with a fresh bale of silage.
Our grass fed Aberdeen Angus cattle, Sheep & Lambs only eat our own home-grown crops producing superb meat right here in Malpas!
